I am a Textiles and Fashion Design student with a strong passion for circular fashion and sustainable design. My work champions principles of repair, reuse, and repurposing existing materials within the commercial fashion system, with a particular interest in plant-based textiles and biomaterials that reduce environmental impact. I approach fashion through a lens of slow, conscious design, combining innovative thinking with artisan craftsmanship. This ethos is reflected in my independent label, Grandpa Joe The Label, a graphic t-shirt brand inspired by my grandfather and produced using screen printing and hand embroidery techniques. As a designer, my mission is to create positive change within the fashion industry through creative innovation, environmental advocacy and a commitment to ethical practice. I am seeking opportunities that will further develop my personal design aesthetic, deepen my understanding of the circular economy and contribute to a more responsible and regenerative fashion future.
